On Several More Things in no order (instead of chronological, etc.)

Recently I live, sleep and wake according to Cupertino time. Part of the reason is that I now am working with Cappuccino, a 280 North product, and 280 North is a company based in the bay area. #cappuccino, the chat room where 280 North guys go to, is therefore only active during Cupertino time.

Things are going pretty smoothly nowadays. I also started working on an iPhone app and a for-some-profit (that is, between a NGO and a business entity) site, but my major concern as of now is still to have Publius working.

Publius is an ePUB editor that runs in the browser. I can’t say much, for its design is still changing. It’s a great learning process.

So today I passed an old couple on a scooter waiting for their turn to cross the quiet intersection. The women whispered to the man, “see, not really a female…” (okay, for record, the Latin word for “an old woman” is “anus”. I am silently, mischievously laughing now.)

That made me seriously want to fix my troll hair. Just give it a few more weeks and we’ll see. We’ll see.

ps. For the record I’ve gone thru Aquair (from Shiseido), Asience (from KAO) and Time Renewal (from Pantene). The former smells good, behaves good, but is weakened after years of usage (this series literally made my lovely 13th – 15th year possible); the latter is new to me but proved very effective. And Asience… [black history redacted] is a personal favorite.

The buzzing news here in Taiwan that caught my mind was about a transsexual model-wannabe. I am very disappointed at how our local media handled the issue, but very happy that the person in question bounced every piece of detritus back mercifully without hurting herself at all.

I do not care much about this. A professional whose talent is showing and getting recognized would not have to worry about it, and I am going to become one. I’ll see some great light in, say, 5 years.
